Maria's New Baby

My friend Maria used to teach first-grade across the hall from me at Taylor Elementary. When I moved to Atlanta for grad school, she and her boyfriend (Fernando) also moved to the city for work. We have enjoyed meeting up for dinner a few times since we been in Georgia. In the past few months Maria was: pregnant, had a sweet (bilingual) baby shower, and delivered a healthy baby boy. I got to meet up with Maria and Fernandito for lunch awhile back. I got to test his motor development and share with Maria strategies to help his growth; that was fun!
